In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.  (Prov. 21:20)

For the Lord your God will bless you as he promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.  You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.  (Deut. 15:6)

The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.  (Ps. 37:21)

Let not debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another...(Rom. 13:8)
