Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme;
therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. (Ps. 4:5-7) If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
(James 1:5) And if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding...then you understand the fear of the Lord and find knowledge of God...Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men... (Prov. 2:3, 5, 9-12) Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
(Prov. 3:13, 14, 16) God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor...but for wisdom and knowledge...therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I
will also give you wealth, riches and honor..." (2 Chron. 1:11, 12) To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to
hand it over to the one who pleases God... (Eccl. 2:26) The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly. (Prov. 14:24 KJV) A man who has riches without understanding is like
the beasts that perish. (Ps. 49:20) From a wise mind comes careful and persuasive speech. (Prov. 16:23 TLB)
