He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Is. 40:29).  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you shall be my witnesses...(Acts 1:8)

I will pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  (Ephes. 3:16, 17)

But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the Lord...(Mic. 3:8 KJV)

Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  (2 Cor. 3:17)

I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.  (Luke 24:49)

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth...and he will tell you what is yet to come.  (John 16:13)

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  (1 Cor. 2:10)

We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.  (1 Cor. 2:12)

The Holy Spirit displays God's power through each of us as a means of helping the entire church.  To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; someone else may be especially good at studying and teaching, and this is his gift from the same Spirit.  He gives special faith to another, and to someone else the power to heal the sick.  He gives power for doing miracles to some, and to others from the same Spirit. He gives someone else the power to know whether evil spirits are speaking through those who claim to be giving God's messages--or whether it is really the Spirit of God who is speaking.  Still another person is able to speak in languages he never learned; and others, who do not know the language either, are given power to understand what he is saying.  (1 Cor. 12:7-10 TLB)

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things...(John 14:26)

If we live in the Spirit let us also walk in the Spirit.  (Gal. 5:16)...Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.  (Zech. 4:6)

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing...(John 6:63)

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.  (Gal. 5:16)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  (Gal. 5:22, 23)

The Spirit helps us in our weakness.  We do not know what we ought to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express...the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.  (Rom. 8:26, 27)

In the last days, God says, I will pour my Spirit on all people.  Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.  (Acts 2:17)

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  (John 3:5)

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!  (Luke 11:13)
